What Openbay is
Openbay provides an AI voice agent that answers missed and after-hours calls for home-service trades, qualifies the job, and books a diagnostic or estimate on the shop's calendar. Openbay does not perform HVAC, roofing, or plumbing work. Bookings made through Openbay are diagnostics or estimates, not priced jobs.
Call recording
Calls handled by Openbay may be recorded for quality, training, and dispute-resolution purposes. By forwarding your calls to Openbay, you represent that you have complied with all applicable call-recording consent laws, including Texas law.
Data we collect
We collect the information you provide at pilot signup (trade, shop name, city, owner cell, published number, hours, service ZIP codes, emergency rules, calendar preference) and call data (caller number, transcript, booking details). We use this to answer and book calls on your behalf.
Your responsibility
The shop is responsible for the trade work performed. Openbay books appointments; it does not warranty, price, or perform the work. You are responsible for confirming appointments and completing the agreed services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Houston, Texas.
