Terms of Service

The service
Openbay provides an AI voice agent — not a human call center — that answers missed and after-hours calls, qualifies the job, and books a diagnostic or estimate on your calendar. Openbay does not perform HVAC, roofing, or plumbing work. All bookings are diagnostics or estimates, not priced jobs.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the trade work performed under your shop's license. You are responsible for confirming appointments, completing agreed services, and complying with all local, state, and federal laws. You represent that you have authority to forward the published number to Openbay.
Call recording
Calls may be recorded for quality and training. You are responsible for complying with applicable consent laws in your jurisdiction, including Texas two-party consent requirements where applicable.
Pilot & billing
The 14-day pilot carries a $0 platform fee. During the pilot you pay $75 per seated estimate. Paid tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) bill a flat monthly base plus a per-booked-estimate bonus of $75–$150. The bonus is invoiced only after the appointment is on your calendar and you have initialed the monthly ledger. You are never billed per minute or per voicemail.
Cancellation
You may cancel anytime. Your published number remains yours. Forwarding can be removed at your request.
Limitation of liability
Openbay is a scheduling and qualification tool. We do not guarantee that any call will result in a booked or completed job, and we are not liable for work performed by your shop. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the preceding 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Texas law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Houston, Texas.
